Yes it snowed

Snow…  Beautiful stuff… especially when it snows so much you can’t drive anywhere.  It is still snowing as I type, but I don’t expect it will add too much to the pile we got over the week-end.  I went for a walk with Pris and only understood why I was so cold when we got home and I noticed a wind-chill of –17.  The President has declared a state of emergency, but few people in our area are truly suffering from the effects of the cold.

Friday night, just two of the students came out, and by the time they got here, they were rosy cheeked and full of adrenaline over having made it.  They both turned up Sunday morning at church too, which was great to see.  (One of them even said that he wanted to come to the Tuesday morning prayer time at 6:30.  If that happens, I’ll take it as a sign something dramatic is happening in his heart!)

We are doing a three week whirl through the Revelation of Jesus Christ Sunday mornings.  It has again impressed with the stress it must have put on John’s heart to go through the visions he was given.  The images are enormous in their power.  The revelation of God’s glory, holiness and power hit hard.  Wow.  But if we choose to see it, we can see these things on a slightly less grand scale every day.  Our God is spectacular.
