Sore neck and back

After three days of lying down, I am back on my feet again. Last Sunday evening, I fell after landing on the edge of a chair I didn't know had been placed below me and flipped backwards head-first into the floor. It happened too quick for me to realize what was happening, but I did feel the wave of pain. I lay there for about five minutes wondering if it was my back I'd broken or my neck. I had no feeling in my hands or feet for a while which was pretty crazy. Anyway, end result was that "bed" and I spent an unusual amount of time together over the last few days and now I am feeling heaps better... although, stiff upper lip aside, I'm probably still only at 50%. : ) The neck brace helps... as does rest, and I think I may have overdone it a bit today.

I'm guessing that I had some concussion and I don't know what else with my neck muscles. I don't trust the local docs and didn't feel much like driving the 90 mins to Kiev to a doc there, figuring that if the pain didn't disappear then I'd go Friday. Today is Friday. We have Youth Group tonight - with people already starting to arrive. I'm off.

It is now 12:15 and the young people have left. Interesting sequel to the above. I landed on a chair because one of the young guys who has been attending church and youth group for a few weeks decided to "help me." Anyway, following the devotional time by Jono, this young man, Alyosha, prayed with Sveta and I tonight to receive forgiveness from God and Jesus as his Saviour. : ) I like this sequel!!! Oksana, a young lady, also prayed. Both have said that they want to be baptized this Sunday along with Alyosha, Alyosha, and Sergei. (Yes. Three "Alyoshas") Another young lady, Pavlina, very nearly prayed with us, but at the last moment excused herself saying she wanted to be alone with God for a while during the making of this decision. She left straight away. Pray for her. She is another neighbour of ours.

Anyway, I started this wanting to let you know if you managed to hear some rumours about "the accident" what is going on. I feel blessed to be up and walking. Wonder exactly how much difference prayer has made!!!???

Much love,

Daniel.

P.S. I also include a pic of the kids taken a couple of nights ago just before bed.
